Home for $1100 in 1916 Sears Roebuck Catalog

Made in America
Update: As pointed out in comment by Anonymous, this was only for plans + materials. You still had to build house.

You still had to build the house, though -- that cost is for plans and materials, and was apparently from an earlier catalog than the currently-being-emailed 1934 supposed Christmas catalog: some research says Wards went out of the house-selling business in 1930.

I recently found an archive of sears home kits from 1908+. It's pretty amazing how much costs have gone up over the years. Sad. LOL

Hi, this house is not from Wards. It is from Sears and this page is from the 1916 catalog. No one was selling houses in this style in 1934. :)
