Colorful Buildings in San Francisco

There seems to be an explosion of color in newly-painted houses, all over the city. Some a bit weird, like this apartment building. When I get the time (or a clone), I'd like to do a photo essay of city color.

I lived in the Sunset, the foggiest district, for seven years and always thought the buildings should have some color, most were bland/beige.

I love the cheerful colors on these buildings...Book on this seems like a great idea.

I suppose some might yearn for the original finish, but it is a nice "spark" to see this, and very cheerful.
