Department of useless, but interesting, information: Saw your headline and thought, "Willy's seems a little informal. I don't want a truck or Jeep built by little William." Turned to Wikipedia and found, "In 1908, John Willys bought the Overland Automotive Division of Standard Wheel Company and in 1912 renamed it Willys-Overland Motor Company." And here's the good part: "From 1912 to 1918, Willys was the second largest producer of automobiles in the United States after Ford Motor Company." Who knew?

Check out the Willys Aero car they built in the 40's to try and break into the economy car market. Pretty far ahead of their time, too far, in fact.
