well, I think it is a good idea. I think it is doable. even for 20k.

however, not if done the way it is on the site. I looked through the link / info/images/write ups.

their stated goal "to start" was to build something which unlike trailers appreciated, not depreciated.

point they themselves made in the articles, criticisms of abodes "too trailer like"...
I would myself even stretch that, and say that much of them is more trailer like than new trailers I have seen.

I think they missed the mark, and am curious if any of these have been resold, value?

I think it would be doable, if recycle/local materials/involve homeowners/ AND
have someone like Lloyd Kahn, Henry Mann, or others featured in this blog, supervise, instruct, etc. As is, they, to me, lack warmth/soul/character. Most likely better than what was previously available, but even at the sizes and price, I think could be a lot better
