Personally I think that that rock should have been left alone even if the house looks really cute...It ruins the view of the river and the beauty of the rock is spoiled with the added concrete features and what happens if there is a terrible flood? The river will take possession of the rock again!
Too bad (or good) that this would never be allowed in the 21st century USA. It looks like a nice spot.
Elisabetta.... i understand concerns about blocking the view..
but....
i have to say.. somehow it does seem to fit, the location, the atmosphere...the artistry of the "scene".
i have come back several times now to look at this pic,
and each time
I smile.....
and feel happy.
I agree it totally fits the scene and makes it unique. Otherwise it would be one of many beautiful views on this Earth, but this is just amazing...
