Wow! I spent so much time with the pictures of this beautiful home (and shop) in Home Work... what a treat to see it again. Congrats to Louie for building such a wonderful home, and thanks for all the delight and inspiration it has provided!

I find there are few things so satisfying as an abundant store of firewood for the rain season, particularly if you cut it yourself. Looks like Louie is set. Great place!

There's not much in this world that I want and haven't got, but that pile of firewood...

I have admired Louie's house for a few years - since Homework, And now to learn that there is a beautiful redwood alive next to this house is just sublime.
Merci Lloyd for adding some Louie to the blog!

The roof seems to fold down its elegant wings to keep the house warm, protected from rain. No rising dampness, a good place where logs can season, a big forefather Tree, it's all we need to have. Une vraie maison de conte de fées, Louie !

Thank you Lloyd, for another update on Louie Frazier and his home, what an awesome craftsman and remarkable man he is. So glad to have met him when he came to the Library in Healdsburg at the end of summer.
