I know this kind of activity just comes natural to you but it's obviously shocking to much of the nation! A lot of folks will benefit from the exposure to your lifestyle, I'm glad the media is on to you lately. I can assure you that this story will definitely inspire some people to step it up and get with it in their own lives. Those kids got it, you are a positive force, respect indeed.

Incredibly inspiring! Total Respect Man! I couldn't have expressed that more accurately.
I was travelling and was on a low bandwidth cell data connection. So could not see the video. The first thing I did after reaching home after a few days of travel was to boot my Mac and see the video on WiFi, full screen. It was such a delight! Thanks a million for sharing!

Lloyd, how does one get started with skateboarding 'safely'? Which skateboard to buy?

If you are in the San Francisco area, go to Purple Skunk on Geary (and 23rd Ave, or so). If in SoCal, look up Loaded Boards. Start with a longboard. Get safety gear, especially helmet and gloves with hockey pucks on palms for sliding on pavement. (You're gonna fall once in a while.) Take it slow. Ease into it.
