Rory Gallagher, whooo!
I'm only 40 years late in discovering this incredible Irish bluesman. See post and comments at http://is.gd/rorygal

Hey Lloyd,
This might not be the proper place to post this but Danny has been at it again. Enjoy

Rory is the blackest Irish man I have ever heard.
Thanks for the books!
I helped my dad build a dome in the late 70's.
Your blog is very inspirational... gets the creative juices flowing.
Thanks, Gary
I was lucky enough to see Rory Gallagher "live in Toronto when I was 25 (I'm a bit older than that now!) and had travelled from Liverpool, UK, to visit "unannounced" an aunt. Sadly for me she had gone on vacation for six weeks a neighbour told me as I stood knocking on her door after my 3000+ mile journey. That taught me to check things first!
So, I booked into a hostel in downtown Toronto and saw there was an open air festival in, I think, a football stadium and bought a ticket. I can't' remember who else was on the bill now but I remember that Rory Gallagher knocked my socks off. A wonderful guitarist who played wonderful songs.
rory was one of the nicest, gentlest people i ever met. and humble beyond words. i miss him
