Once had a potato grow through a crocheted scarf in the back seat of my boyfriends VW beetle. Everything had to go (well not the VW)
That's awesome... on many levels. We just got informed about "bud-nip" problems with root vegetables, so the growth of your potatoes look beautiful to me.
