Soulful old shingled house

Check out this little slightly tattered house in Sausalito. Spotted it last Tuesday. The proportions, the wood sash windows, the nice little pop-outs (you might call therm wall dormers) on left and front. Southern exposure facing blue bay. I know it feels good inside. Fung-shiui, um-humm…

Wabi sabi.

I love Sausalito. There used to be a place called the Buckeye Roadhouse Grill at the corner of something in Sausalito and the road to Mill Valley that was great. I wonder if it's still there? The food was really, really good, and I loved the interiors as well, especially the bronze horn lamps with the red glass bead shades. Thanks for kindling a good memory.
