Road kill fox

People hereabouts often alert me to roadkill animals. Marco and I were out getting firewood today and he told me he'd seen a fox that had been hit and killed last night. We drove over there and I picked up this little beauty. I'll skin it tonight, stretch it out, tack it down to a piece of plywood, and salt it down. After a week I'll send it via UPS to a tanner in Pennsylvania. 6-8 weeks later I'll get a beautiful tanned skin back via UPS.

Lloyd Kahn said...: Somehow this was posted 4 times. Anyway, Steve asked what I do with the skins. I have them around the house and office, usually on the back of chairs. You could make a hat or jacket. Maybe when I get enough skins I'll ask Lesley to make me a coat.; November 12, 2010 6:28 PM

Drivers must be responsible in checking their brakes, and they must choose a car which have good features for avoiding accidents, and have protecting devices for protecting drivers during accident. You know, Dodge Caravan have these features. If you want to buy cars that have safety features, Edmonton is known for selling these cars.; February 16, 2011 10:09 PM
